Waiting for Baby

I thought the baby would come a few days ago. I’ve prepared as much as I could. Stocked up on groceries. Washed the baby’s clothes. Kept up with the rest of the family’s laundry. And I have packs of disposable plates and flatware ready to use. Well, we’re still waiting. And the cycle starts again.

I’ve got a pile of laundry waiting for me (again). Had to go to the supermarket today and replenish the grocery stocks. Waiting, waiting. There’s no way to know exactly when the time will be. Meanwhile, chores need to be done still. What would you say the chance is that the baby will make his appearance just when the pile of laundry gets to its highest point?
