Change kitchen and/or discloth daily. At night, use that day’s soiled kitchen/dish cloth to wipe the kitchen sink, faucet and counters, to keep the kitchen shining.

Be careful microwaving your sponges…I had one melt and start smoking last week!
Instead, I change mine every night and throw the dirty ones in the washer with my towels. After they’ve been washed in hot water (sometimes bleach) and then dried in a hot dryer, they are sanitary and ready for the next time.
I replace them when they are worn out. I stockpile the brand that I like, keeping about 6-8 on hand at all times.
