Off to Florence
I’m off to Florence, Oregon this weekend for a family wedding. As always happens before a trip, the past days have been filled with a whirlwind of activities in between the usual day-to-day things at home: packing, laundry, shopping, cooking, more packing.
This will be my first time to travel with one of my kids and no hubby in tow. So I wanted to be as prepared as possible for the 4+ hours-flight. That meant packing kiddie snacks and some toys. On the home front, I didn’t want to leave my dear hubby with loads of laundry, so I did what I could (and I hope he doesn’t greet me with piles of dirty clothes when I get back, hint hint :) ). I stocked the fridge and freezer with essentials so, hopefully, they won’t be eating just chips and Skittles while I’m gone.
I’ve never been to Oregon, and I heard that the coastline over there is really pretty. I’m also looking forward to visiting some art shops and galleries that I heard dot that part of the country. Meanwhile, I have a couple of quick tips written up for you so don’t stay away, even when I’m gone. :)
