New Website Helps Save Money on Tech Products
Frugal living doesn’t mean not buying high-tech items for your home. It does mean getting what you need in a product at a reasonable price. A new website, ConsumerTechTips.com, has easy-to-understand explanations for technical jargon, making it easier for consumers to decide on exactly what products and models they need. It also has links to sales and rebate offers from various companies.
From ClickPress:
“Products have gotten so complex,” says the sites creator, Reid Neubert, “it’s hard for people to keep up. As a result, they often end up paying for features they don’t really want or need.” For example, with new computers costing from a few hundred dollars to a couple thousand dollars today, it’s hard to know what one needs. Consumertechtips.com helps people resolve just that kind of quandary.
It’s so easy to be caught up in the craze for the “latest model”, only to find out that all those expensive gizmos will go unused in the long run. “Pay only for what you know you will use” is a good mantra for buying tech products without busting the bank. And, of course, rebates are always welcome.
