Looking for Vegan Baking Resources

After we had some ice cream yesterday, my son started asking for cake. Baking for him is a challenge sometimes, since he’s allergic to both cow’s milk and eggs. I’ve been scouring the web for recipes that I can use, and have finally realized that vegan resources might be just what I need.
We’re not vegan. We’re not even vegetarians, although we do eat vegetables and fruits as much as we can. But I’m finding that others might just have done the work of testing and improving recipes to make them egg-free and milk-free. I just need to dig those resources out.
I’m considering this cookbook of vegan desserts called “Sinfully Vegan: Over 140 Decadent Desserts to Satisfy Every Vegan’s Sweet Tooth” by Lois Dieterly. It’s got pretty good reviews on Amazon.
I wonder if any of you have tried this cookbook, or know of any tried and tested recipes for milk-free and egg-free desserts. Oh, and it has to be nut-free, too! Do tell and share.

I have the book Sinfully Vegan, and I have only tried two of the recipes…but unfortunately they both turned out to be less than I’d hoped for. Maybe I just picked bad ones to try. Anyway, I recommend going to this website: http://www.theppk.com/veganbaking.html for help with vegan baking as well as yummy recipes. I’ve had good luck with these.
