Do you live in a small space? Here are some tips for making the most out of what you have.
* Stick to a theme to give your home decor a continuous flow from room to room.
* Use mirrors. Reflections make a space look larger than it actually is.
* Get rid of clutter.
* Use see-through furniture, like glass tables.
* Keep wall decor small.
* Use a light color pallete for the wall. If you’re using wallpaper, keep the pattern small.
Bart Coker, assistant property manager of Colonial Village at Hendersonville, said the key to decorating a small space is to pick out scaled- down pieces.
“It gives the illusion of more space,” he said.
