Kitchen Gear Tops Wish Lists

Karen Fernau lists some kitchen gadgets that are expected to be hot gift items this year. These are available from various retailers. Among her picks:

- a ceramic grinder that grinds from the top, made by Kuhn Rikon

- a multi-purpose griddle, from Cuisinart, for panini sandwiches, pancakes, etc.

- ergonomic pots and pans, from the arc42 line, designed to allow you to use forearm muscles instead of wrist muscles

- multi-tasking tongs (includes a bottle opener, tongs, spatula, a cutter, a meat tenderizer and a grill scraper)

- dishwasher-safe wineglasses by Riedel

I wouldn’t mind pots and pans for Christmas if they’re so wrist-friendly. ;)
