iRobot’s Verro Automates Cleaning Pools

iRobot has already given us the Roomba Vacuuming Robot, Scooba the Robot Mop, and the Dirt Dog Workshop Robot. Now, meet the newest member of the family.
Verro, which will come in two models, is an automated pool-cleaning device the size of a lawn-mower. Verro 300 (shown above) will sell for $799, while Verro 600 (below) will go for $1,199.
The company claims both Verro models can clean pools from floor to waterline in 60 to 90 minutes, rather than the four to six hours typical for most automatic models. The four-wheeled Verro 300 sprays jets of water to scrub concrete pools, while the track-wheeled 600 uses brushes to clean tile, vinyl and fiberglass.

For now, the devices will only be available through the iRobot website.
