How to Properly Load a Dishwasher

So there is a right and a wrong way to load a dishwasher. To get the best results, just remember this:

All machines have a spinning arm that sprays in an outward fashion, so tipping plates in toward the spray provides the best cleaning power. And don’t put flat pans or platters up front near the door, because they may block water from reaching the detergent dispenser.

Carolyn Forte, Home Care Director, Good Housekeeping Institute also recommends using Dawn Power Dissolver to remove burnt-on residue. That definitely goes on the list for my next grocery visit.
