How to Light a Christmas Tree
SJ Reidhead, writing for Blog Critics, has a post about how to professionally light a Christmas tree.
If you have an artificial tree, like we do, you’re supposed to put the lights on the tree before you fluff the branches. You do end up using a large number of Christmas lights, if you do it this way. Something like 2500 lights on a 7 foot tree. There are safety considerations for having so many lights on a tree, BTW, so make sure you read the entire post before stringing your lights up.
Which now reminds me, we really have to get our tree up before Christmas passes us by. :)
