It really doesn’t matter what type of home I have, or how well it is decorated (or not). It’s where I feel safest, most comfortable and happiest. I hope you feel the same way about your own home.

    Here’s another quote I’ve taken to heart. I got it off one of my Mom’s souvenir finds from long ago. It was printed on a plate which she hung over the sink:

    “Thank god for dirty dishes
    They have a tale to tell
    While others may go hungry
    We’re eating very well.”

    I keep that in mind whenever I begin to complain about the dirty dishes and glasses piled up in my sink!
