Go-To Product: Command Strips

by Maricar on December 28th, 2007

hookwithkeysWhen 3M Command Strips first came on the market, I thought they were pretty cool. These days, with so many types of hooks and clips, they are some of my favorite products to use around the house.

Here’s a quick list of some of their uses:

* hang and organize bags near the back door

* attach a garbage bag organizer to a cabinet door below the sink

* hang towels in bedrooms

* hang stockings on the mantle above the fireplace

* put up posters and pictures on the wall

* organize keys

* organize cords

Their applications are endless! I love that they can be removed very easily without leaving a mark.

    I’m going to buy these in bulk due to your recommendation. I need something to hang our hats on in the closet - work for that eh?

    Purses, belts, etc. yeah, buying these as soon as I find them on clearance in Feb.

    And they stick huh?

    Hi Tracee, yes they stick pretty well and will work for those. The hooks/adhesives come in various sizes, and the maximum load is specified for each. The biggest hooks can carry up to 5 pounds I think. Hats and belts should be no problem at all. You just have to pick the one that’s right for what you want to hang.
