Flower Pot Party Favors
I was at my sisters home a few days ago, to visit and attend my new baby nieces dedication. Under the direction of my sisters friend, Mabel, I helped a few other ladies put together these pretty flower pots as guest favors and table centerpieces.
We used the following materials:
Ceramic cups and saucers in matching pastel colors
Potted flowering plants
Cellophane bags
Narrow ribbons in pastel colors
Ribbon with printed sentiments
Tag
Putting the favors together was fairly simple:
1. Put a saucer in a cellophane bag.
2. Transfer one plant (and the soil) from the flat or pot into a ceramic cup. Press the soil around the base of the plant.
3. Wipe off any soil on the outside and rim of the cup.
4. Place the cup inside the cellophane bag.
5. Tie the bag around the base of the plant using two narrow ribbons.
6. Thread the ribbon with sentiments around the tag. Tie this ribbon around the base of the plant
We used these flower pots as table centerpieces, as you can see here:
After the party, the guests got to take them home as favors!

hi maricar! These are great. We’re hosting a baby shower in 2 days and we’re giving away small potted plants as shower favours too! Such a clever idea!

Hi Beth, Aren’t they cute? I had fun putting them together, thanks to Mabel (the "designer").
