Cheers to the Lowly Broom!
Housekeeping. There are so many things that go on in a home every single day. Things that one never really thinks about too much (until the time comes to blog about it LOL). Everyday, all over the world, people do routine things that are unseen and unnoticed, but hopefully not unappreciated.
When writing this blog, I think about whether my own sweeping or dusting is something that interests others. Do you really want to read about that? It’s so common and ordinary. People do it everyday. It’s the same with cooking, washing and all the mundane little things that make up the whole of keeping house.
And yet, if these things are left undone… well, we all know the consequences. Housekeeping is an un-thought-of, brushed-aside necessity for restful living. Here’s to brooms and laundry soap!
